I am a journalist finishing my last year at the University of Southern California. I major in Print & Digital Journalism and am pursuing additional concentrations in Chinese and Web Development. I currently work as a managing editor at Sweet Lemon Magazine.

In 2009, I founded Peanut Butter & Jams, a music blog for which I managed, edited, designed and promoted on social media. I then worked as an editorial intern for Myspace Music,  for which I reported daily music news coverage for Myspace’s music blog, conducted interviews with artists such as Death Cab for Cutie and covered live shows. I also worked as an associate entertainment editor of  Neon Tommy, USC Annenberg’s 24/7 online news site, which is the number one most trafficked online-only university publication in America. During the summer of 2012, I wrote and conducted research for RollingStone.com, where I honed and developed my skills in the field of online media by compiling trending statistics, writing album and song reviews and making archived pieces “web-ready.

This past summer, I worked as an editorial fellow at BuzzFeed in New York City, where I wrote posts that drew more than 20 million views all together.

When I get the chance to take a break, I enjoy long drives and searching for new places to eat. I love being outdoors, reading short stories and watching reruns of Friends.
